College of Urban and Environmental Sciences of Northwest University offers five undergraduate majors: Resources Environment and Urban & Rural Planning Management, Geographic Information System, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, and Environmental Engineering. Among them, the Resources Environment and Urban & Rural Planning Management is a national specialty. Geographic Information System is a provincial brand major of Shaanxi, having been rated the A++ science major in Chinese universities by Ranking of China Universities since 2002, and is among the best in the same majors nationwide.
