PROFILE
Cao Mingming is a Professor of Geography and Dean of the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences. Professor Cao has won many awards and prizes: Excellent Teaching Achievement Award (First Prize) in 2000 both at Northwest University and provincial level, and was awarded Renowned Teacher of Shaanxi Province in 2011. He has hosted more than 40 national and local scientific foundation projects, and has published more than 100 journal articles and conference papers and several books. Professor Cao’s research interests include land use planning and management, environmental management and sustainable development, utilization and protection of natural resources, and others.
