Brief Introduction:
Dr. Li is currently a professor at the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Northwest University. He is a doctoral advisor within specialty at human geography and master advisor for urban planning and design, as well as regional economics. As an academic pacesetter, Prof. Li focuses on both research and teaching centered on human geography. In addition, he is proficient in Russian and good at English.
Prof. Li greatly exerts the role in specialty and course construction and organization, additionally, holds some novel pedagogic mode for undergraduates and pursues the reform ideas and implementation plans about courses in geography and the curriculum system.

Human geography lectured by Prof. Li, remarkably, selected for “Shaanxi Provincial Notable Course Project”. In addition, Resources Environment and the Management of Urban and Rural Planning is evaluated the “National Distinguished Major”.
Professional activities:
• Supervised 6 completed Ph.D. degrees, and supervised approximately 36 M.S. completed degrees thesis candidates.

• A long-term international exchanges and cooperation relationships with the Moscow State University, the Moscow National Normal University, the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, the Odessa Polytechnic and the Institute of Geography, Ukraine National Academy of Sciences have been established.
• Some solid academic progress has been made on communication aboard to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Abb. CUHK), Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, to the National Chi Nan University (Taiwan), to the Asia University (Taiwan), etc.
• Numerous domestic academic exchanges (e.g. Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources, CAS) have promoted and domestic cooperation with institutions of scientific research (Northeast Institute of Geography and Agro-ecology, CAS) boost and higher education -- the East China Normal University, the Nanjing University, the Nanjing Normal University, the Ningxia University, the Shaanxi Normal University, the Xi’an International Studies University, etc.
